Paul Pogba’s potential return to Juventus never stops being a subject in the Italian media, especially now that there are only a few months left until the end of his contract with Manchester United.

Last week, we covered a report from Calcio Mercato which said the midfield keeps in touch with his old teammates at the Old Lady, and the contacts are ‘intensified’ for his comeback in Turin.

However, even though Juventus would not have to pay a fee for Pogba’s arrival, it’s well known that his salary at Manchester United isn’t little. And that could be a problem.

CMIT TV have had a word with Gianni Balzarini, who claimed that despite the Old Lady’s wish to have the midfielder back at the club, it’s still unlikely they’d be able to agree personal terms with him.

“Since he went to Manchester there was already talk of a return. Juve has set the maximum ceiling at €7.5m, he earns €14m. I’m still to know a player who cuts his salary in half.”

So even though Pogba may feel like he could go wherever he wants in case he doesn’t sign a contract extension with Manchester United, he better be aware that not everyone can match his big demands.
