Fanatik claim Fenerbahce are keen on signing Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo before the Turkish transfer window closes at the end of this month.

The Istanbul club are in the market for defensive reinforcements as they only have two senior central defenders currently in their squad.

According to Fanatik, the Argentina international wants to leave Manchester United and Fenerbahce are hoping to take advantage of the situation.

It’s hoped Fenerbahce could test Manchester United’s resolve with a loan bid, but that seems very ambitious, especially given Jose Mourinho didn’t manage to get a central defender signed.

Fenerbahce will make their move for Rojo in the near future, and their sport director Damien Comolli is hoping he can land the player.

Considering Rojo’s ability to play as a left-back, the defender could be a good signing for Fenerbahce as the Turkish club are also lacking quality in this department.
