Turkish newspaper Fotomac claim Fenerbahce are keen on signing Liverpool central defender Ragnar Klavan.

The Turkish club have already signed the Premier League duo Islam Slimani and Andre Ayew, and Fotomac report the club’s sporting director Damien Comolli is now looking to England again with regards to defensive reinforcements.

It’s reported Comolli has already held talks with Liverpool officials regarding Klavan and the Turkish club are hoping they can get the 32 year old before the Turkish transfer window closes at the end of August.

Another Turkish newspaper Fanatik also report with Klavan now the being the 5th choice central defender at Liverpool, the Estonian could leave the club for regular first team football.

Fanatik say Jurgen Klopp has already given the green light to Klavan’s departure but the latest injury concerns with Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip may force Klopp to rethink his decision.

According to Fanatik, Fenerbahce are ready to make a loan offer for the defender.
