There’s various things being said across Friday’s Italian newspapers on the future of Sofyan Amrabat.

We’re going to go through the Liverpool claims and set them out per publication, to make it easier to see what’s going on.

Firstly, we’ll start with La Nazione, which is Fiorentina’s local newspaper. They report, via Labaro Viola, that the midfielder has grown tired of waiting for waiting for Manchester United, and that Liverpool have taken their first steps to sign him.

The €30m asking price is once again mentioned, and that’s been the case all summer, and whilst Juventus are credited with interest it’s thought to be too high a price for the Bianconeri.

Moving on, next we have La Repubblica, who via Viola News state Jurgen Klopp held personal talks with Amrabat on Tuesday, over the telephone.

Again, the €30m is pushed and it’s explained that should no club match Fiorentina’s demands then they’d be happy to keep the midfielder and pair him with Arthur.

Now we’ll move to the specific sport newspapers and begin with Gazzetta dello Sport… who, erm, don’t even mention Liverpool, instead focusing on Manchester United.

Corriere dello Sport’s report on Amrabat makes it clear they believe Wataru Endo has been signed instead of the Moroccan rather than simply before him.
