Bild have come up with a transfer plan for Borussia Dortmund, which doesn’t seem to be a great idea for Crystal Palace.

It’s stated that with Dortmund reportedly being interested in signing Wilfried Zaha from Palace this summer that a transfer could cost over €30m. That amount seems on the low side considering the current market and how highly Zaha is rated by the English club and their supporters.

Nevertheless, the German newspaper rolls with it and believes that Palace have been keen on signing Andre Schurrle. The 27 year old only started 11 Bundesliga games last season for BVB and his value has been dropping for some time.

Dortmund using the former German international to bring the amount down from €30m doesn’t exactly sound very attractive for Crystal Palace.

Even if it was Schurrle plus the €30m, which isn’t being suggested, it may still not be tempting enough for the Eagles, at least if they’ve been keeping an eye on Schurrle in German football recently.
