Pedro Porro’s continued impressive performances for Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou have given Spain manager Luis de la Fuente a dilemma ahead of Euro 2024.
That’s according to Estadio Deportivo, who say the Spain manager ‘has a strong dilemma’ to work out thanks to the full-back.
They explain that Porro is ‘hard earning his place’ at the European Championship in Germany, putting in continued impressive performances for Tottenham to almost make it impossible to leave him out of the squad.
The Tottenham man had found his chances very complicated due to the presence of Jesus Navas and Dani Carvajal and had been ‘feeling sorry’ for himself because of it but he continued to fight for his chance, and it is likely he will be given it.
His performances for Tottenham have created an argument that the Spain manager will not be able to ignore and the statistics back it up.
He’s experiencing ‘the best moment of his career’ to date and the data makes him the most decisive right back in the Premier League as well.
So, De La Fuente has a decision to make, does he continue to back the veterans, swap to Porro or perhaps take all three to the tournament.
It’s a tough choice, to say the least, and Porro is making it all harder by continuing to shine for Tottenham.
