Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest have identified Dreams FC’s Abdul Aziz Issah as a transfer target, according to Ghana Soccernet.
The 18-year-old managed a goal and an assist from 25 games last season, while has starred for the Ghanaian side this season, scoring 10 goals and registering three assists from 28 matches.
His development for Dreams FC seems to have caught the attention of the European clubs, including Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest and Sporting.
Nuno Espírito Santo’s side and the Portuguese club have ‘expressed their desire’ to sign the attacking midfielder, and they are now joined by the Magpies, who have ‘entered the pursuit’ for Abdul Aziz Issah, likely in the summer window.
Leicester’s Abdul Fatawu Issahaku is on loan at Sporting and the latter view Abdul Aziz Issah as a potential successor for his compatriot, if he were to return to the King Power Stadium.
Newcastle and Nottingham Forest, on the other hand, view the player as an opportunity to strengthen their squad.
Ghana Soccernet make no mention of whether the teenager will be able to obtain a work permit if the Magpies or the Reds were to sign him.
