Southampton have joined Leeds United and Leicester City in the chase for PEC Zwolle’s Anselmo García MacNulty.
Two days ago, AS reported the Whites and Enzo Maresca’s side are set to battle for the 21-year-old, who’s keen on making a switch to England.
Leeds and Leicester interest is backed up by Mundo Deportivo, who add Southampton as the new suitor from England.
The Sevilla-born player has been a regular for the Dutch club this season, featuring 29 times, and managing a goal and two assists in the process.
Real Betis have followed the left-back live on several occasions, while Club Brugge are handling positive reports about him.
It’s claimed the Republic of Ireland U21 international is also ‘under the magnifying glass’ of the English clubs and this is when Leeds, Leicester and Southampton are tagged.
The Championship trio have been battling to return to the Premier League and the Foxes have already secured a berth. Daniel Farke’s side and the Saints are currently third and fourth respectively, and are still in contention to return to the top flight.
The three clubs are also battling it out off the pitch as Southampton are set to challenge Leeds and Leicester for MacNulty in the summer window.
