Lucas Moura to Tottenham Hotspur seems to be *this close* (holds thumb and forefinger half an inch apart), as regular fire comes from France saying it’s all on the verge of happening.

Monday evening saw claims from Brazil that Lucas Moura had boarded a train for London and was all set for his Tottenham medical.

That claim was then echoed in France and England, and it went the same Brazil-France-England way as claims of personal terms being agreed between the two clubs.

Le10 Sport deserve some credit on this one, as they were the ones on Wednesday who reported Daniel Levy had become involved and things were being dragged towards the line on the Spurs signing.

Tuesday’s edition of L’Equipe explains that whilst a total agreement wasn’t confirmed last night, the Tottenham signing ‘should materialise in the next few hours’.

On Monday some PSG executives were in London to finalise the transfer, and it’s reiterated Lucas also travelled himself.

This one could be announced today, or Tottenham’s love of late drama may see it saved until deadline day.

There’s not expected to be any serious hurdles left, so only one of the clubs suddenly changing their stance would kill it.
