Dejan Kulusevski is likely to join Tottenham on a permanent basis in the summer, although it is dependent on qualification for the Champions League.

That’s according to Calciomercato, who explain that the Swedish star is the ‘one most likely’ to bring much needed transfer funds to Juventus this summer.

He has been on loan at Tottenham from the Italian giants since January last year, with Spurs initially paying a €10m loan fee to secure his signature.

The deal includes an obligation for them to buy the winger on a permanent basis once certain conditions are met, with the figure set at €35m.

CM state that the option will only be triggered if Tottenham finish in the top four and Kulusevski features in 50% of their games this season for at least 45 minutes.

He is on course to achieve the latter after 17 appearances out of 28, while Tottenham are also fourth in the Premier League. Qualification for the Champions League is very much in the balance though given pressure from Liverpool and Newcastle.

At the moment, though, of Juventus’ players out of loan, he is the ‘one most likely’ to bring money into the club this summer.

That’s because the forward is ‘happy with his situation’ and they would like to keep him, despite the imminent sacking of Antonio Conte.
