While Antonio Conte has yet to sign anyone for Tottenham since he’s still not been in charge of the club during a transfer window, that could change in January.

There have been a number of rumours linking Spurs with potential additions, and one of those has been Franck Kessiè.

The midfielder was already a reported target during the summer window when Nuno Espírito Santo was still in charge, and Fabio Paratici was circling around the Ivory Coast international.

The Milan star has yet to sign a new contract in Milan, with his current deal expiring in June 2022, meaning he could be a free transfer for the summer.

Moreover, there could be the chance of getting him immediately in January for a fee, but it seems unlikely that the Serie A side would weaken themselves in such a manner when they could use his services for the backend of the campaign.

Milan Live have an article on his situation, claiming Kessiè’s future ‘is not yet clear’, but there is an ‘increasingly likely farewell’ in the works as there has yet to be an agreement regarding a new deal.

The negotiation is ‘blocked’ as he wants ‘at least €10m net per season’, which is ‘out of reach’ for Milan.

That’s where Tottenham come in, with it said that both Spurs and Paris Saint-Germain are ‘ready to economically satisfy him’.

We’ll see about that, because €10m/year net is a lot of money, even for the London side, but, then again, it appears that Daniel Levy is ready to do a lot to make Antonio Conte happy.
