Rodrigo Becão was reportedly in the sights of Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

It seems the north London club are still in the picture for the Udinese player, if a claim from Italy is to be believed.

Tutto Udinese have a report on the 26-year-old and their title states Tottenham ‘think of the Brazilian’.

The centre-back had started eight matches in the league before he was forced to miss Udinese’s 2-2 draw against Atalanta last weekend. He has managed a goal and an assist in the process, and his form for the Serie A side this season is not going unnoticed.

‘At the moment’, Tottenham are the ‘most interested’ to sign the South American. A deal in January remains unlikely as the report suggests there will be talk about his future after the end of this campaign.

Two days ago, Messaggero Veneto reported he was ‘listening to rumours’ of Everton in the last window. It was also explained Becão is firm in his position not to sign a new deal at Udinese.

His contract expires in 2024.

This may come as an encouragement for Spurs and others in their pursuit of the defender.
