On December 21st, DH in Belgium stated Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Ajax youngster Stanis Idumbo Muzambo and have offered him a four-year deal. It was also said Spurs’ plan was to include the 18-year-old in their first-team squad.

Sevilla have also been named as a contender and it looks like they have managed to beat Tottenham to his signature.

That’s according to De Telegraaf, who state Ajax have reached an agreement with the La Liga side for the Tottenham target’s transfer.

The midfielder’s deal expires in 2024 and therefore, the Eredivisie side have decided to cash in from his sale this month.

It’s claimed Ajax will receive €300,000 plus ‘several thousand euros’ as potential bonuses. In addition to this, they will also be entitled to receive a percentage of the fee from a future sale.

Estadio Deportivo relay De Telegraaf’s claim and add that the Andalusian club stepped up their efforts in the last few hours, to get ahead of Tottenham in the transfer race.

ED point out a claim from elsewhere that the Belgian is expected to arrive in Spain soon, to seal a move to Sevilla.

Muzambo will initially be alternating between the Spanish club’s first team and youth team.
