Since Fabio Paratici took his role at Tottenham Hotspur, the London side have been heavily linked to players from his former club Juventus, having even made a couple of signings from the Bianconeri in the January transfer window.

It seems that mission hasn’t stopped just yet either, because according to new reports, Spurs are working on the signing of winger Juan Cuadrado.

Journalist Rudy Galetti writes on Twitter that Tottenham got in touch with the player’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, to ‘obtain some information’ on a potential move.

It’s said Fabio Paratici would be ‘glad to welcome him’ at Spurs. Cuadrado, however, is said to have his renewal with Juventus as a priority for now.

Cuadrado, at the age of 33, continues to be an important player for Juventus, and has five goals and four assists in 38 appearances for the club this season.

His current deal with the Old Lady is set to expire in June 2022, just like Paulo Dybala’s, so Tottenham’s hope would certainly be of signing him on a free deal this summer.

Now it should all depend on his talks with the Bianconeri for an extension.
