The fact that Randal Kolo Muani had a good World Cup with France, at least in the final, has only made matters better for Eintracht Frankfurt and worse for the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool.

Those are the two teams who are named as the big interested parties in the Premier League, facing competition from Bayern Munich, according to RMC Sport.

The French outlet have a big article on the evolving situation surrounding the striker, and recall that all three clubs, including Tottenham and Liverpool, ‘knocked on the door’ of Eintracht regarding the forward.

The Bundesliga side picked up the forward on a free from Nantes, after it was made clear he wouldn’t carry on with the Ligue 1 side, and are now set to make a huge profit, either six months or a year after the deal.

It’s said that prior to the World Cup, Eintracht ‘valued him at €50m’, and as soon as he was called up to play in Qatar to replace the injured Christopher Nkunku, that climbed up to €60m.

Going forward, and if he carries on his good form, his price ‘could fly up’, and it’s said that, in private, the board of the Bundesliga side ‘aren’t hiding their desire’ to make him the biggest sale of all time at the club, surpassing the €60m or so they got from Real Madrid for Luka Jovic.

Either way, the ‘trend’ is for him to finish the season where he is before moving in the summer, but the question is asked whether an ‘excessive offer’ could see him leave early.

The answer to that is ‘not even sure’, because the player is ‘very motivated’ about playing in the Bundesliga going forward.

Therefore, both Tottenham and Liverpool would have to go above and beyond to convince both Eintracht and the player to move in the next few weeks; something we doubt either side will want to do.
