The Gleison Bremer and Tottenham rumour has been building in the Italian media over the past few weeks or so, with Spurs thought to be keen on the Brazilian defender.

In mid November, Turin newspaper Tuttosport reported Fabio Paratici ‘has not denied’ his interest in the player for next season to his ‘Italian confidantes’

On November 25th, it was reported Spurs ‘seem to have taken the most concrete steps’ to sign him.

Antonio Conte’s side were again linked on December 5th, with it being claimed Torino would consider selling the player next summer for around €25m.

Torino Granata now say Tottenham are leading interest in Bremer, so much so they’ve become ‘insistent’. Spurs ‘offer more than anyone else’ and it’s thought the London club would be prepared to pay more than €20m to secure a deal.

Torino are already listening to proposals for next summer, according to the claims, because they don’t want the 24-year-old to end up in the final year of his contract.

Conte is said to appreciate Bremer’s skills, although the chances of a January transfer, rather than waiting until the end of the season, aren’t discussed.
