Earlier this week, we covered claims from Belgian newspaper HLN that a whole host of clubs were sending officials to the match between Club Brugge and AS Monaco.
There was no indication who the clubs were watching, but since the 1-1 Champions League game happened, another Belgian newspaper believes there was a standout target and one which has something of a transfer assurance.
Wesley Moraes scored the equaliser for Club Brugge, and Het Belang van Limburg reports the 21 year old is the player ‘with the most transfer potential’.
It’s explained that Wesley has an agreement that he can leave for a ‘really big club’. With apologies to Newcastle United, of the English clubs present only Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea fit that category.
They clearly believe he’s a big reason Chelsea, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, Juventus and the Milan clubs have sent someone.
