It’s been a few days since we’ve seen anything about Tottenham and their interest in Ruslan Malinovskyi, but it’s now back.
That’s thanks to Calciomercato, who give an update on a number of Atalanta players, with the most important of all being Luis Muriel.
However, beyond that, there are a few others who could be on their way out either in January or the summer, including the Tottenham target.
The Ukrainian has been pushed to one side by Gian Piero Gasperini, and he was already touted to leave last summer, with Spurs a favoured destination for him.
No deal was struck, though, and he has had to make do with little football prior to the World Cup, patiently waiting for something to happen in January.
That could happen, as Calciomercato explain there is ‘no need for the Ukrainian to wait for June’, because Tottenham ‘with €15m will be able to buy him outright’ in the next transfer window.
That’s good news for Fabio Paratici and Antonio Conte, who will be looking for this kind of deal to help Spurs ensure they once again finish in the top four.
