Philippe Coutinho has struggled to shine for Barcelona since joining them from Liverpool in January 2018.

The 29-year-old has been linked to Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal at repeat times in recent years. The two north London clubs were named as suitors for the Brazilian in the last window, but a deal never took shape.

Having recovered from a long-term injury, the attacking midfielder made his first appearance of this year against Bayern Munich earlier this month. Since then, he has featured twice in the last two league matches.

According to ElNacional, the La Liga side are hopeful they can send Coutinho out on loan in the winter market, if he impresses in the coming months.

Liverpool have ruled out re-signing their former player and most of the report focuses on the Reds.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s side and the Gunners are tagged at the end of the report. It’s said Tottenham ‘keep their interest open’ in Coutinho.

It’ll be interesting to see whether Spurs will maintain the same stance on the Barca man, when the transfer window reopens in January.
