Juventus’ interest in Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial is starting to get a little more attention from the Italian press.
Today, it’s Premium Sport who claims the chase for the Frenchman is on, with the Old Lady thinking of bringing him to Serie A in the next summer transfer window.
After club director Pavel Nedved met Doyen’s Nelio Lucas in London, things started being taken more seriously by the local media.
And now Premium Sport claims that there have been more contacts with Martial’s entourage.
Juve president Beppe Marotta is said to be following the situation closely, and wondering about the best time to make an attempt.
Regarding the player’s wish and the amount demanded by Manchester United, Premium Sport doesn’t seem to know much.
The only figures they mention is that his market value would be €65m, but since this is the exact same number used by website Transfermarkt, we find it hard to be a coincidence.
Martial to Juventus has long been a popular theme for some in Italy, and claims from France in February that Manchester United renewal talks are at a standstill will have only encouraged things.
From France: Anthony Martial contract talks ‘at standstill’ with Man United, Tottenham ‘courting’ him.
