Turkish newspaper Fotomac reports Fenerbahce are showing interest in Manchester United’s Belgian contract rebel Marouane Fellaini.
In fact, it’s quite odd Fenerbahce’s name hadn’t been thrown in for the player so far after he was heavily linked with a move to other Turkish clubs such as Trabzonspor, Besiktas and Galatasaray during the last summer transfer window.
Fotomac said Fenerbahce have contacted Fellaini’s representatives over a potential move and the first talks reportedly went very well.
It seems Fenerbahce manager Aykut Kocaman also wants to see Fellaini in his team ahead of next season, as his physical presence means he could be a perfect fit for the Turkish Super Lig.
Fotomac claim Fenerbahce are ready to offer a wage of around €4m per year and they’ll offer 4-year contract to the 30-year old in order to convince him over a move to Istanbul. Fellaini has yet to sign new a deal with Manchester United, making an exit look increasingly likely.
