Turkish newspaper Fanatik report Swansea City forward Wilfried Bony has given the green light on a move to Besiktas and that the player has reportedly asked to leave the Championship side.

Fanatik say the Besiktas board are in the market for a striker this summer and they’ve been told they need to pay €3m to Swansea City if they want to loan Bony for a season.

Besiktas have reportedly started talks with Swansea City and they are trying the lower the price.

It’s also claimed Besiktas are in talks with Bony’s entourage and the player has reportedly indicated he’s not prepared to play in the Championship next season.

According to Fanatik, Bony wants to play for Besiktas instead and the Turkish giants are expected to make progress during talks in the coming days.

Bony scored just two goals during a disappointing season, which saw Swansea City drop down to the second tier.
