Purchased by Swansea after some good years in the French league, Franck Tabanou never really adapted to the Premier League, and the French wide man was sent back on loan to Saint-Etienne, where he was bought from in the first place.

Playing more, but never excelling, Tabanou was then sent to Granada in Spain this season, but it would appear that an early return to Wales could be on the cards.

According to But! in France, the Swansea loanee isn’t enjoying life in Spain as much as he first thought, especially since he’s only played twice so far for the La Liga club, who are currently bottom of the table.

The Swansea defender, who has been subbed off at half time in both his appearances, is currently recovering from an Achilles injury, but the French website reckon a return back to Saint-Etienne (yes, again) would be his preference.

But! state that Christophe Galtier, Saint-Etienne’s manager, is on the lookout for a new full-back, and who better than a player he has already managed on two separate occasions.

Furthermore, the fact that Tabanou is currently building himself a house in the region means his hinting at a Swansea exit is getting less and less subtle.

#JusticeForTabanou, we say.
