On August 7th, Arriyadiyah stated Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah was in serious negotiations with Al-Ittihad and needed a tempting offer to leave Anfield. This claim was then dismissed by the star’s agent.

The Saudi Arabian side aren’t giving up in their pursuit of the 31-year-old, according to the latest reports.

Sportitalia state Al-Ittihad have a ‘super offer ready’ to sign the Liverpool player, who has not ruled out the possibility of moving to the Middle East.

It’s said the Merseyside club could ‘hesitate’ if they were to receive a huge offer for the forward. The outlet further adds the next few hours are ‘decisive’ for his future at Liverpool.

Saudi newspaper Alyaum have backed it up and provide additional updates on this case. They say there has been a ‘surprising development’ in the past few hours in Al-Ittihad’s efforts to sign the Egypt international.

It’s claimed Salah’s agent Rami Abbas has informed Nuno Espírito Santo’s side that he wants his client to be the highest paid player at the club and also receive similar privileges to what Al-Hilal offered to Neymar.

A source close to Salah has told Al-Midan [Alyaum’s sports section] that Al-Ittihad have ‘agreed to all conditions’ proposed by both Salah and Liverpool to carry out the deal.

It needs to be seen whether Abbas will again deny the latest claims linking Salah to Al-Ittihad.
