On Thursday, Gazzetta explained that Bacca and Milan were in a paradox situation. Bacca was keen to stay at Milan and fight for Champions League football, but Milan only thought they could mount a challenge if they sold Bacca and invested the funds elsewhere.
Havign already agreed a €30m deal with West Ham, Milan have been hanging on Bacca’s word. Gazzetta say the Colombian hasn’t gone on the club’s pre-season tour, suggesting that could be significant.
It’s also stated that David Sullivan was set to telelphone Bacca this morning to try and convince the player to sign for West Ham, and make his mind up about things quickly.
West Ham have a Friday deadline, it may be wise not to extend that, this has been dragging on for long enough.
