It appears that Toni Kroos will finally be able to play against Liverpool on Tuesday night, although whether he starts for Carlo Ancelotti remains to be seen.

The German midfielder, who is normally key to any success the La Liga side have, has been out over the past few days with a flu and was initially not meant to be playing.

However, Cadena COPE are now reporting the player has now ‘recovered’ and was able to travel in order to face Liverpool for the Champions League knockout game.

He has been added to the club’s squad list, and the player is already on Merseyside to get up to speed with what will be required of him in the upcoming game.

Kroos had missed his side’s past two wins in the league against Elche and Osasuna with the illness, but he will now be able to get the chance of having his say in the important game versus Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

A further tweet from the show El Partidazo de COPE adds the player arrived at the club’s hotel in Liverpool at 2pm after speaking with Ancelotti and the Real Madrid head physio, and is feeling ‘perfectly’ well.
