Maybe Chelsea are not the only London club who the former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique could be taking charge of.

As reported by Catalan outlet Mundo Deportivo, Arsenal are another Premier League side who could be after the Spanish boss.

According to the outlet, Arsenal will evaluate if it’s worth keeping Arsene Wenger at the end of the season. In case the answer is negative, then they have Luis Enrique as a target.

Taking advantage of having the former Barça director Raül Sanllehí at the club, Arsenal would get in the race with Chelsea for Luis Enrique and boost the ambition which they’ve been lacking for all those years.

It’s suggested Sanllehí could help swing things in Arsenal’s favour.

You may be asking yourself ‘but won’t Chelsea get Enrique now?’.

Mundo Deportivo don’t think so. According to the report, Roman Abramovich has given Marina Granovskaia the order to keep Antonio Conte in charge of the squad for now. The Russian owner doesn’t want to sack the manager because by doing this, he would be giving in to ‘certain players’.
