Barcelona newspaper Sport are once again convincing themselves that signing Coutinho from Liverpool is very much possible, and can be done at a relatively reasonable price.

In the newspaper’s Friday edition, Jurgen Klopp’s Thursday press conference words have been taken to their very extreme, and Sport have decided he’s coming around to the idea of selling Coutinho.

It’s stated that Klopp has decided he ‘won’t prevent’ Coutinho from leaving the club for Barcelona, as long as the money is good.

Sport say ‘The coach of the Reds will let him go to a club who pay his price: about 75 million. Barça are interested, but believe it is very expensive for a position that is already covered.’

Coutinho Sport November 18th€75m for Coutinho is reasonable in the current market, but Barcelona don’t need him, and therefore it would be something of a luxury purchase.

Sport, over the past few weeks, have set their stall out as follows: Coutinho wants Barcelona, Coutinho’s agent wants Barcelona, Klopp and Liverpool would sell for a reasonable price… but now Barcelona aren’t so sure.

It’s all very convenient for a Barcelona leaning newspaper.
