West Ham and Southampton are both said to be interested in Dani García from SD Eibar.

According to Marca, there’s a big competition going on for the midfielder, as other clubs such as Werder Bremen are also keeping an eye on him.

These clubs would be keen on making a bid during the January transfer window, even though Marca can’t say who’s closer to actually going for it at the moment.

Garcia reportedly received a contract renewal offer from Eibar in November, but the parties haven’t found an agreement so the player is still on the same deal, which expires in 2018.

The midfielder is pretty important for the club, and has played all of their La Liga games this season, except for one match which he missed due to an automatic suspension for a red card.

He’s been at Eibar since 2012, when he arrived from Real Sociedad B on loan and made a permanent move for free in 2014.
