Used sparingly by Mark Hughes this season at Stoke, you might forgive Bojan Krkic for maybe wanting to look elsewhere if all he’s going to get at the Britannia are a few minutes off the bench every seven games.

The former Barcelona wonderkid, who never quite lived to expectations, has been linked with a return to Spain over the past week or so, with Las Palmas the last club to be linked.

That was until Thursday evening when SuperDeporte in Spain claiming Valencia, who are in dire need of a striker capable of putting the ball in the back of the net, and Bojan is an option.

The Stoke striker isn’t top of the list, however, as that seems to, for some reason, be Juventus’ Simone Zaza, currently on loan at West Ham and yet to score a goal this season.

Still, Bojan is said to not be happy with the few appearances handed to him by Mark Hughes, and his knowledge of La Liga could be extremely beneficial to the Spanish club.

Described as ‘affordable’ for Valencia, this could evolve in the coming weeks, especially if Simone Zaza’s loan to West Ham isn’t cut short.
