Southampton’s Nathan Redmond will undergo a medical at Besiktas this morning ahead of completing a loan move to the Turkish club.
That’s according to FotoMaç, who pick up on reports yesterday that Redmond is closing in on a move to the Super Lig.
They explained that the forward would be joining on a season-long loan deal, with Southampton pocketing €1.5m from it.
He’s now set to undergo a medical at some point ‘this morning’ before then visiting the stadium and signing the contract to make his one-year loan deal official.
They provide no new details as yet, so it remains to be seen how much of Redmond’s wages that Besiktas will be paying for the duration of his loan spell.
Either way, it appears his temporary departure from Southampton is close to being finalised and will be sooner rather than later.
