Greek newspaper FOS report Sheffield United are still interested in signing Olympiacos midfielder Mady Camara ahead of the summer transfer window.

Previous reports in Greece said the Blades were interested in Camara’s teammate Omar Elabdellaoui, but FOS say this isn’t the case as the Premier League side are looking at other right-backs.

FOS claim Sheffield United are keen on Camara and that the Guinea midfielder could leave the Greek club to play in the Premier League next season.

Signing Camara won’t be straightforward for Sheffield United, and FOS report the Greek club rejected a €10m offer from Bayer Leverkusen during the winter transfer window.

Camara has been a key player for Pedro Martins’ side this season and his performances against English sides in Europe have brought him to the attention of other clubs.

The 23 year old has made 39 appearances for Erythrolefki this season, scoring two goals. His contract with Olympiacos will expire at the end of June 2023.
