Wolverhamptons Wanders have been linked to Bright Osayi-Samuel for a while now and a week ago it was reported they’d sent a scout to watch him in action for Fenerbahce.
They watched the 26-year-old in the UEFA Conference League against Olympiacos and despite Fenerbahce going out, the fullback put in a good performance.
Things have now heated up a little, at least according to Turkey’s Takvim. They report Wolves have made an offer for Osayi-Samuel and are working with the Super Lig club to get a deal agreed ahead of the summer window.
According to Takvim, Gary O’Neil’s side have placed €12m on the table. That offer included bonuses which are thought to be easy to achieve. Whilst it hasn’t been outright rejected, Fenerbahce want a little more.
As it stands, ‘negotiations continue’ and the Turkish side are keen to reach an agreement because they’re scared of losing Osayi-Samuel for nothing.
His contract expires in June 2025, and therefore that puts them under some pressure. Takvim expect the situation to snowball and suggest there could be quick developments.
