Sheffield United defender Anel Ahmedhodzic has changed agents, according to a report from Sweden.

Fotboll Skanalen today reveals that the player left the Full Potential Agency and their agent Makus Rosenberg, having now joined CAA Base.

The website recalls that Rosenberg had been the one who negotiated Ahmedhozic’s move to Sheffield United in 2022, when the Blades signed him n a €4.5m deal from Malmo FF.

Fotboll Skanalen points out some players who are already represented by CAA Base as well. That includes the likes of Heung-min Son, James Maddison, Cole Palmer and Gleison Bremer.

It’s recalled that Ahmedhodzic got close to moving to Napoli back in January, so that may have something to do with his wish to make a move out of Sheffield United.

The defender has 26 appearances for the Blades this season, but given their campaign in the Premier League, it’s hard to imagine them not being in the Championship next season.

He’s currently valued by Transfermarkt at €18m, and could be one of the sales for Sheffield United to rebuild their squad in case of relegation.
