Olympiacos captain Luka Milivojevic has told the Serbian press his current club will not let him leave in January despite interest from West Ham United and Valencia.

The 26-year old spoke to Serbian Website Alo.Rs and was asked about a potential switch to West Ham or Valencia in which he said Olympiacos have no intention letting him leave in January.

Milivojevic said: “I am aware that Olympiacos have no interest in selling me, especially in January. They want to win another Greek SuperLeague title with me. They want me to be part of it. If I leave I think they will receive very good money for me.”

The Serbian midfielder was also asked about the potential interest from West Ham: ”I don’t know, really. For now, it’s all speculation. I’m enjoying it here. I have a great status across the club and country.

“All I want is to play even better. And I can assure that I’ll continue to give 100% on and off the pitch. They (Olympiacos) know what’s best for them. I’m not aware of any offers, but I know the club will not sell me this January.”

Leicester City were previously linked with Milivojevic and now West Ham reportedly want him, but any deal will not be possible until the summer. Milivojevic this season has been in impressive form for Olympiacos and he’s also the part of Serbia team that is doing well in the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers.
