Sabah have reported Galatasaray are closing in on Manchester City right back Pablo Zabaleta, following claims in the Argentine media he will be signing for West Ham United
Sabah report Galatasaray have asked for information about Zabaleta from his former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini. The Italian has advised the Galatasaray board that signing Zabaleta would be excellent business for the club.
The 32 year old played his last game at the Etihad yesterday when Manchester City beat West Brom to secure Champions League qualification. Despite leaving Manchester City, Zabaleta could still be playing in the Premier League next season with reports West Ham want to sign the defender.
We covered claims from Argentina yesterday which stated Zabaleta to West Ham is sure thing already. If that’s the case, Galatasaray have no hope, but if it’s not, and the Hammers are just seriously interested, Slaven Bilic’s club probably need to get a move on.
