Turkish website Sporx claim Fenerbahce will target Angers striker Karl Toko Ekambi in the summer transfer window.
The 25 year old was linked with a move to Leicester City during the last transfer window.
Fenerbahce officials are reportedly aware there is a good chance Vincent Janssen will return to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, and are understood to have identified Ekambi as a possible replacement
Scouts foe the Turkish club have reportedly been impressed with Ekambi’s performances for Angers this season, and his physical attributes are thought to be ideal for the Turkish Super Lig.
However, there’s a chance the Turkish side could face competition to sign the Angers star if Leicester City renew their interest in the player this summer.
In January we covered reports Leicester City made an inquiry about Ekambi, which led to nothing, with the Foxes eventually settling on Ajaccio’s Fousseni Diabaté.
There were claims at the time Angers received an offer of €14m for Ekambi, but it wasn’t confirmed if this came from Leicester City.
