Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye may have completed his dream move to the Premier League from Galatasaray in the last transfer window, but his departure is still causing problems for the Turkish club.

The Senegal international joined Stoke City for a fee in the region of €16m on deadline day.

Sporx today claim former president of Galatasaray Dursun Ozbek paid the player €3m as an advanced signing on fee, following his move from Osmanlıspor last summer.

However, the player left the club after just six months for Stoke City, and the Turkish media believe Ndiaye doesn’t deserve his signing on fee.

According to various reports the new Galatasaray board have suggested recently elected president Mustafa Cengiz needs to investigate this, with the possibility in asking Ndiaye to refund part of the money he received when he signed last summer.

This situation doesn’t seem to be going away for the Stoke City player, and there are also some reports Galatasaray even paid €1m to Ndiaye’s manager when he joined the Premier League club, although this has yet to be confirmed.

Unless Galatasaray have any legal avenues open to them, they can probably forget about seeing the money again.
