Tottenham Hotspur have joined the chase for Lazio’s Felipe Anderson, according to TV Play.

The winger’s deal expires in 2024 and there’s no clarity where he’ll play beyond this season. He’s already revealed there’s no agreement in place for the renewal.

This seem to have seen a few clubs, including Tottenham, take action and the report says they have already knocked on his door.

It’s said Spurs have ‘reached out’ to find out the conditions needed to secure his services.

The 30-year-old was at West Ham United between 2018 and 2021 and knows the city and the Premier League very well. Along with Ange Postecoglou’s side, AC Milan and Juventus are also trying to secure his services.

TV Play state the Old Lady would be ready to offer the Brazilian a three-year deal worth €5m per year, to join them on a free transfer next summer.

Stefano Pioli’s side, on the other hand, would be inclined to sign him next month, by making an offer to Lazio. The report states Lazio chairman Claudio Lotito could demand a high figure of around €20m, which may not please Milan.

Tottenham, for now, have only made contact, and will have to step up if they wish to get ahead of both the Italian clubs to sign Anderson.
