Star report Besiktas presidential candidate Ahmet Nur Cebi is looking to bring back Everton striker Cenk Tosun, if he gets elected as the club’s new president on Sunday.

It’s reported one of the members of Ahmet Nur Cebi’s board, Erdal Torunogullari, is also keen to re-sign Tosun and this transfer move could happen very quickly if they win the race.

Torunogullari was key to signing Tosun for Besiktas from Gaziantepspor on a free transfer and he also played an important role when the Super Lig side sold him to Everton for €27m in 2018.

The Turkish striker has only made one Premier League appearance this season for Marco Silva’s struggling Everton side and could look find a club which can give him regular football ahead of the Euro 2020, with Turkey looking set to qualify.

The 28 year old is under contract at Goodison Park until June 2022 and recently he scored a very important goal for his country as they beat Albania by 1-0 on Friday.
