It’s now time for Goal Brasil to share their information on Gabriel Jesus’ situation at Manchester City.

The outlet’s latest story now claims that the striker’s staff have opened talks with Arsenal. It’s said there are contacts going on between agent Paulo Pitombeira and Gunners’ director Edu Gaspar.

Now even though it’s previously been reported by other sources that Gabriel Jesus could even ask to leave Manchester City in the coming months, Goal Brasil’s story brings another angle to it.

They claim that the player’s staff do not intend to force a way out, as they’re actually working for him to get a new contract and more minutes on the pitch. That’s why they will discuss the situation with City Group’s football department and with manager Pep Guardiola.

In case Jesus isn’t offered what he wants, then, the transfer to Arsenal is said to be on the table, and could possibly happen in the summer window. Despite the talks between Pitombeira and Gaspar, it’s said no numbers are being discussed for now.

The striker’s contract with Manchester City expires only in 2023, so it will require the Gunners to pay a fee to get him signed now.
