Jakub Kiwior is Arsenal’s newest player, according to the latest reports from the Italian media.

Website Tutto Mercato Web write that following the agreement between the Gunners and Serie A side Spezia, the player has already completed the move to the English club.

The report claims that Kiwior ‘has signed’ today his contract with Arsenal, which is set to run until June 2028. He’s set to make a salary worth €2.5m net per year in his time there.

The Gunners are reportedly paying Spezia an initial amount of €25m for the move, plus €5m in performance bonuses.

According to Tutto Mercato Web, that signing was done ‘in the last few minutes’ and the ‘official announcement’ is expected to be made very soon.

Earlier today, we had already seen people at Spezia talking about the transfer. Club director Stefano Melissano claimed they’re actually happy to see the player moving to one of the biggest clubs in the world, and wished him luck in the Premier League with Arsenal.

The defender had joined the Serie A side on a €2.2m deal from Croatian side MSK Zilina in the summer of 2021, and now leaves for over ten times more.
