Legia Warsaw defender Josip Juranovic will fly to Glasgow on Friday to undergo a medical and complete a move to Celtic.
That’s according to Gol 24 in Poland, who say it is uncertain whether the full-back will feature for the Polish side in their Europa League qualifier this evening.
Juranovic has been linked to Celtic this week, with it reported that they have finalised a €3m deal for the defender after giving up on Manchester City’s Yan Couto.
It was reported that he would feature for Legia in their Europa League clash with Slavia Prague this evening, but according to Gol 24, that will only be decided at some point today, which coach Czesław Michniewicz confirmed at a press conference.
Either way, what they do know is that a deal is in place with Celtic on a €3m transfer, and Juranovic will fly to Glasgow on Friday for medical tests.
That would seemingly rule him out of featuring this weekend when Celtic take on St. Mirren, but that is not likely to bother the Hoops too much as, barring any issues or a really unfortunate injury this evening if he plays, they will be getting their man.
