Watford forward Isaac Success is due to undergo a medical with Udinese tomorrow after the Italian side ‘convinced’ him to make the move.

That’s according to Gianluca di Marzio, who say Udinese are finally getting their man after a ‘long courtship’ of the player.

The journalist explains that the Serie A side made contact with Success last month, but the Watford man was reluctant to accept the deal.

However, they have now talked him around, and the operation is now ‘closed’ after he gave his approval to the switch.

According to the journalist, it will be a ‘transfer’, which suggests it’s a permanent move as opposed to a loan, but there’s no mention of a fee, so we’ll have to assume this is another Pozzo special at this point.

What he does make clear is that Success is due to travel to Friuli tomorrow, where he will undergo the required medical checks before finalising his move from Watford.
