Manchester United signed André Onana from Inter Milan after David de Gea left Old Trafford as a free agent last month.

The Red Devils are looking for another goalkeeper to provide cover for Onana, and Altay Bayındır has been identified as the target. On Tuesday, journalist Gökmen Özcan stated the English club have offered €7m plus €1m in bonuses to sign the Fenerbahçe player.

Haber Turk state the 25-year-old is getting closer to making a switch to Manchester United.

The report adds an agreement has been reached between the two clubs and the Premier League side will offer around €7m to the Yellow Canaries to secure the stopper’s services.

It’s claimed the Turkey international made a trip to Greece with his agent on Tuesday afternoon to undergo a medical with Manchester United. The tests seem to have gone well as he’s now back in Istanbul.

Haber Turk state Bayındır’s time at Fenerbahçe will end soon and he’s expected to travel to England ‘shortly’ to join Manchester United.

Fenerbahçe will replace him with Dinamo Zagreb’s Dominik Livaković, who is set to arrive in Istanbul today to complete his transfer.
