When Romelu Lukaku arrived at Milan’s Linate airport on August 9th, some Chelsea fans immediately went to flight tracking platforms to watch their new signing make his way over Europe to London.

A private jet took off, looked to be going in the right direction, and then landed in Nice.

The player’s agent, Federico Pastorello, lives in Monaco and conducts much of his business from there, so, as per reports and common sense, the striker will have hopped from Nice to Monte Carlo to tie up the loose ends on his Inter Milan exit.

According to some claims in the Italian media, Inter have been waiting to finalise the signing of Edin Dzeko from AS Roma, before allowing Lukaku to complete his move to Chelsea.

TMW report Dzeko will today arrive in Milan for his medical, and that gives the green light for the Belgium international to hop back on the private jet and fly to London.

They believe that Lukaku will be flying to the English capital today, so Chelsea fans will need to return to flight tracking.
