Everton ‘could make an attempt’ for Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhalo Mudryk after his impressive performance in the Champions League.

That’s according to Calciomercato, who say Mudryk’s goal in the surprise win over RB Leipzig has put him on the radar of the Premier League.

The Ukrainian side pulled off one of the big wins of the opening round of Champions League games this week, running out 4-1 winners in Leipzig.

Mudryk was one of the goalscorers, grabbing his side’s third of the evening with a superb, drilled finish into the bottom corner on the counter attack.

He also provided two assists in a superb display and CM state that his role as ‘one of the protagonists’ has garnered attention.

He’s now ‘entered the sights’ of Everton, who were named among the interested parties in the summer and could now ‘make an attempt’ in January.

There’s no mention of what they’d look to pay for the Ukrainian star, or even whether Shakhtar would sanction a sale, just that Everton were left impressed last night and are now eyeing a move in the winter window.
