Arriving from Slavia Prague for a fee of £7.2m last summer, Abdallah Sima has yet to play for Brighton & Hove Albion.

The winger was then sent on loan to Stoke City for the season, but a series of injuries put a quick end to that, with him making only four appearances for the Potters.

This led to him returning to Brighton, where Graham Potter, while wanting him in the long-term, decided another temporary spell would be best for the 21-year-old.

Angers in France were chosen as the ideal destination, and the confirmation appears to be around the corner, as Mohamed Toubache-TER reports the player has undergone a ‘successful medical’ ahead of his move, suggesting we could hear more on this in the very near future.

Prior to his move to Brighton, Sima had been somewhat of a star in the Czech Republic, where he excelled at Slavia Prague, scoring 16 goals and assisting another seven goals in 38 first-team appearances.
