With the January transfer window now behind us, the European sport media are already turning their attention to the summer, when it’s expected a lot of business will get done.

The world market has been impacted by Covid-19, and there are numerous players expected to change clubs in the summer. Friday’s edition of Tuttosport concentrates on Juventus, and what the Turin club will be doing in the next window.

To finance their business, they’ll need to sell, and that’s where Chelsea come in.

There’s a rarely a mention of Matthijs De Ligt and transfers, without Thomas Tuchel’s side being named, and that’s the case again today.

Tuttosport push De Ligt, and a possible move to Chelsea, forward, when they talk about exits which could fund moves for the likes of Nicolo Zaniolo and Gleison Bremer.

These are ‘The plans for June’.

De Ligt is being lined up for something of a mega-transfer, with claims of Chelsea potentially paying more than €100m for the Dutchman. That is perhaps ambitious from Juventus.

The defender certainly hasn’t been a failure at Juventus, but he hasn’t lived up to all his hype, and therefore a big profit on what they paid Ajax is surely pushing things, especially if Chelsea are the only club in town.
