Two days ago, Goal Brasil reported Raphinha’s camp are trying to annoy Chelsea so the Blues walk away and allow Barcelona to sign the Leeds United star this summer.

Chelsea have already agreed a deal with the Whites, but have not been able to convince the 25-year-old, who only wants to make a switch to the Camp Nou.

The La Liga side will have to act quick and find an agreement with Leeds to seal the winger’s signing.

According to Marca, Barca ‘look for money’ to prepare offers for signings.

Barca are aware they have until the end of this month to reach an agreement for the remaining 15% of their TV rights, which they can still sell. However, they want to try to raise the money as soon as possible.

Raphinha and Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, the Catalan club’s two main targets, are expected to join their current teammates for preseason training on July 12th. They are said to have already informed their clubs of the desire not to start preseason.

In other words, Xavi Hernández’s side have less than a week to make money and submit formal offers to Leeds and Bayern for the Brazil international and the striker respectively.

Barca are willing to pay €50m plus bonuses for Raphinha and are not ready to match the €65m fee proposed by Chelsea. The player’s desire to join the Spanish club can be an advantage for the latter to conclude the deal.

Raphinha’s agent, Deco, is in ‘permanent contact’ with the Blaugrana. The representative has assured them his client will wait for Barca and not commit to Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Gerard Romero states ‘it’s only a matter of time’ before the Leeds attacker joins Barcelona.
